The Working 2 Walk 2008 Science, Education and Advocacy Symposia will be held at the Kellogg Conference Hotel at Gallaudet University.  Located on the northeast side of Washington, just minutes from Union Station, KCH offers newly remodeled, fully accessible hotel and meeting rooms.  The campus of Gallaudet University is an oasis of quiet greenspace in the midst of a bustling city.  More information on the facility and amenities is available on the KCH website.

Note: Our block of rooms at the hotel is selling quickly.  If you call and nothing is available, visit our Maps & Transportation page to find other hotel options.  We will provide shuttle service to and from Union Station and the Kellogg Conference Center.  Also it is possible that more rooms will become available closer to the event date, so check back with KCH regularly if you prefer to stay there.

Room Reservations for Working 2 Walk:

Unite 2 Fight Paralysis has reserved a block of rooms for the Working 2 Walk event at a rate of $180 (+ tax) per night.  Please note that all the hotel rooms are spacious and wheelchair accessible.  However, only 10 rooms have roll-in showers.  Reservations must be made prior to March 13, 2008 to guarantee the block discount rate.

To make your reservation, call the KCH Reservations Dept at 202-651-6000.  You must identify your affiliation with Unite 2 Fight Paralysis in order to receive the preferred rate.  If you want a room with a roll-in shower, please specify when making your reservation.  Also, the hotel will accommodate service animals, but again you must advise them when making your reservation.
